Ontario is the most populous province in Canada, with almost 15 million inhabitants. The capital of Canada, Ottawa, is located in the province of Ontario. Ontario has more than 250,000 lakes, including the largest in the world: Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and Lake Huron, which can be visible from space. In addition, Ontario has one-fifth of the world's fresh water in its territory.
